Your Farm Visit at a Glance

Bring your students out for a day of fresh air, friendly animals, and unforgettable farm fun.

Our field trips are designed especially for elementary-aged children, giving them the opportunity to experience real farm life in a safe, welcoming environment.

Students will meet a wide range of animals, including chickens, bunnies, goats, horses, dairy cows, and our newest members of the farm, our baby Miniature Highland Cows.

At each stop, children will learn about the animals — how they live, what they eat, and how they are cared for — while enjoying hands-on interaction. They’ll have opportunities to pet, feed, groom, and connect with the animals up close, creating meaningful and memorable experiences.

During the growing season, a trip to the garden will be included where students can sample some available produce.

Beyond the barnyard, students can burn off energy in our playground area featuring a ninja ropes course and zipline. After a full morning of adventure, classes can gather on our spacious grassy knoll or patio seating area to relax and enjoy lunch together.

It’s a day filled with discovery, movement, laughter, and authentic farm experiences your students won’t forget.

Program Costs:

• $180 for up to 15 participants

• $325 for up to 30 participants

• $400 for up to 40 participants

Teachers and chaperones are free.

Program Details:​

• Duration of tour is about 1hr-1.5hrs long

• Guests are welcome to stay in the playground/patio area as long as desired after the tour

• We also have a patio area for picnic lunches and relaxing

Cancellation policy:

Please note: To reserve your spot, a $50 deposit will be required to confirm your date. The deposit will be applied to your total Field Trip fee and full payment of your remaining balance is due by the date of the visit.

• Cancellations 3+ weeks prior to the scheduled visit are eligible for a deposit refund

• Cancellations less than 3 weeks prior to the scheduled visit are ineligible for a deposit refund.

• Cancellations initiated by Long Valley Acres due extreme weather will have the option of rescheduling their visit (pending availability) or receiving a full refund.
